Madhya Pradesh Tiger Safaris 2023

At the beginning of the year 2023, I had successful tiger safaris in central India. I explored two forests named Kanha and Pench. In a total of five safaris, I got tiger sightings on each one of them. Meaning I saw five different tigers. However, I managed to photograph only three of them. In the upcoming blog series, I will be posting images I captured during the trip and I will also share the stories behind the photographs.

This image of a mighty tiger named ‘Chota Bajrang’ would serve best as the opening image for my upcoming blogs.

I also want to thank Deep Kathikar from ‘Wild Angle Safaris’, who was my naturalist and buddy during the trip. I had the company of two more nature lovers – Shirish Kathikar (Deep’s father) and Swapnil Choudhary – my old buddy.
